A rules-based multi-country itinerary generator built on the destination database: sequence, days per stop, budget, transport and visas to check.

The engine is a transparent rules-based planner over the destination database: it scores destinations for your style, interests, months and budget, orders them geographically, allocates days by pace, and estimates costs from the dated per-destination figures. You can then reorder, add or remove stops and change the days; the budget recalculates.

How the engine works
Scoring: lifestyle fit (editorial, 1 to 5) × 1.2; +1.5 per matched interest tag; climate fit from WMO normals for the travel months (or editorial best months where no normals exist) × 3; a cost term that rewards destinations under your per-day budget and penalises those over it; +2.5 for preferred regions; exclusion of avoided regions. Sequencing: nearest-neighbour from the best-scored start, weighted so quality still counts. Days: proportional to pace with a small bonus for cities with more to do. Costs: per-destination daily estimates by tier × days, plus a distance-based transport allowance ($0.045 per km overland, $0.11 per km plus $35 by air). No live fares, no schedules, no claims of availability.
