All arrivals must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online beforehand. The DE Rantau Nomad Pass offers a renewable 12-month stay for qualifying remote workers.

Salute
Dengue is the main concern, especially in urban Selangor and Johor. Healthcare is high quality and inexpensive; Kuala Lumpur and Penang are medical tourism hubs.
Denaro
Cards and Touch 'n Go e-wallet are accepted almost everywhere in cities. ATMs are plentiful and fees are modest. Mamak stalls and hawker centres are cash or QR.

Come spostarsi
ETS trains link Kuala Lumpur with Ipoh and Penang; buses cover everything else cheaply. AirAsia's home base means domestic and regional flights are among the cheapest in the world. Grab is ubiquitous.

Maxis (Hotlink), CelcomDigi and U Mobile all sell cheap tourist SIMs and eSIMs; speeds are among the best in the region.
